There are several benches scattered throughout the village, which are a useful for people who may be trying to keep up their fitness by talking a walk in and around the village. They have been provided by a mix of donations, through the Parish Council, via the church, or via RMBC.
In March 2024, RMBC offered to both refresh some of the more tired benches – and to take on the maintenance in public (non-church) locations, so there has been a series of work to ensure their fit for purpose.
