The Church Playground is located just off Manor Drive and Lindleys Croft, adjacent to the Churchyard and Church Car Park. It was borne out of the efforts of the Parish Council and in particular, the late Mary Gregory – a well-respected member of the Parish Council, who served the community for 28 years (including Chairperson for 3 years and Vice-Chairperson for 4 years). Mary instigated the purchase of the children’s playground near the Church in 1986
The playground has recently undergone a scheme of refurbishment, borne out of the results of the Parish Survey conducted in 2021 and through the efforts of a recent member of the Parish Council – Lucy Morley. It officially reopened again after a brief closure in October 2022
