Todwick’s Recreation Ground is ultimately owned by the village, with the Parish Council acting as custodians, and the day-to-day running managed by the Todwick Recreation Ground Charity Trust Committee.
It is situated at the edge of the village, on the end of the Pastures heading West, before the road becomes Goosecarr Lane.
The recreation ground has a playground, basketball court, Football field and Cricket field, Bowling Green, a Multi-Use Games Area (aka MUGA), and a Pavilion.
Pavilion
The Pavilion is available for hire and came about as a result of the hard work of previous councillors; Eileen Northall, Brian White, and David Gregory
MUGA
The MUGA is available for multi-use purposes for all ages in a safe secure environment:
- Cricket
- Football
- Netball
- Tennis
There are four exercise machines on the outside of the MUGA, including a table that can be also used for table tennis and teqball and are suitable for wheelchair users.
All these are available from dawn until dusk.
